Why don't you get a flickr.com account? you can upload pictures there, then easily blog 'em here. your viewable flicker account ('photostream') only saves the last 200 pix you uploaded, but the ones you send to your blog are there forever. there's a 20MB/month upload limit, but I bet you can fit into that quite easily. that's my professional reccomendation.
